The Urban Cowboy provides plenty of warmth for a gathering of three to six people, and will extend your outdoor life by weeks in both the spring and fall. The 30 inch basin provides all the space you need for serious home entertainment, but doesn’t require the same commitment of space our larger units do. A typical smoke free campfire easily fits inside an Urban Cowboy, and you have the option to go really big, should you want to (and believe me, we’ve done it…). Arguably our most versatile Smokeless Fire Pit, one person can put an Urban Cowboy into a truck to take it to the tailgate party, the lakeshore, or wherever else your wandering bone might take you.

    Loving it! I purchased the Urban Cowboy, and it is nothing short of the best quality, and far exceeded my expectations. We have a small yard space and during our recent patio remodel removed a fire ring I was tired of cleaning up and dusting the patio with a mess of ashes. I was looking at several foreign knockoffs that are using cheaper steel, I was worried they would not stand up for the long term. Great communications from the company during the decision process. Thanks Mike for reaching out make a difference Weather in Tucson, AZ peaking at 110 degrees, so it is a little hot to put it to use. Can't wait to put it to use in the fall. But we did christen it the other night with friends, BBQ, and smoker running. Filled it with ice and Beer and drinks. Was a fun start, Guest loved it. Not that we will be using it as a cooler in the future :-) And Kudos to the Proper Packing. "All Paper" no Styrofoam and bubble wrap "Plastics etc. All Paper done the right way! Found a metal supplier offering ¼ - 6" steel rounds and painted them up for better support on my brick patio. Looking at making a steel lid. CC you are missing out. you should offer a lid for the Urban Cowboy. LOVE This Purchase! TuxsonMike

    Perfect for Florida, but we hated to throw a tarp over our Urban Cowboy every time it rains (often), and we did not like leaving it with flaming embers over-night. The solution was to have a local wrought iron fence guy make a mild steel lid with a handle and guide holes to line up with the peg holes on the caldron. Now we can slip the lid on even when the fire is blazing if necessary. The lid weighs in at 25 pounds and is a nice accompaniment to your fine product.

    This is perfect for mobility, warmth and taste (literally). I would recommend that you add an option for a steel lid so it can be covered and smothered in an approaching storm.

    7 1/2 years ago, my husband and I bought our first house, a fixer upper. The house was such in bad shape that we spent most of our money fixing things that you could not see (e.g., foundation, electrical wiring etc). I love charcoal grills so the only thing we bought for us as our own house warming gift was the Urban Cauldron! Best present ever. We use it all the time, year round.

    I love my Cauldron. First cook was 4th of July. What fun this is. I have several grills and smokers, and this is my new favorite. It's cool cooking in the round. There is a learning curve, but that is part of the fun. Can't wait for cooler weather. I don't think the fire will go out all Fall.

    Originally I was looking to build a traditional fire pit sunken into my brick patio. By code I had to be 10 feet off the foundation of the house and I was only 8 feet away. So, I started my search for a fire pit that didn’t look like it was made of tin and would only last one season. I first saw the Cowboy Cauldron when doing a Google search and fell in love with the look. It was different, it’s a piece of art, it made a statement and I was instantly hooked. I spent hours looking at photos trying to decide what would be the right size for my patio and ended up purchasing the Urban Cowboy for several reasons. First, I used the size charts you give on your website and that helped a lot. Second, I watched the YouTube video of Mike showing the different sizes. And third, I wanted something I could easily put into my pickup truck and take the party with me. I would also like to start a Christmas tradition of taking my Cowboy Cauldron into the cul-de-sac here in Aldie, VA so the neighbors can come up, roast marshmallows, and sing Christmas carols. Good times, good friends, good memories!!!

    We bought our Urban Cowboy at the end of the winter season here in Florida. Wish I would have pulled the trigger on the purchase earlier. Had been eyeing one for a couple of years but the price kept me away. I now realize that you get what you pay for, and this Cauldron is awesome. Had the chance to have 6 to 8 burns before the summer heat set in here in Florida. Was a difference this is over the box brand fire pits! Looks great even on our small patio. Can’t say enough how great it is to deal with a company that’s building their product in the USA, and stands behind it. Thanks for a great product and fantastic customer service. I will recommend to friends and family.
