There and Back Again - AZ to WA
There are a handful of stories that we hear from our Cowboy Cauldron owners that absolutely blow our minds. Big fires, lots of cooking and grilling, events, weddings, single engine planes with a Cauldron in the hold... and so many more.
So, here's an amazing summer road trip story from Brian M - who happened to find a Cowboy Cauldron for sale online. He gave us a call, verified a few details, and set out to collect his own steel to join the Cowboy Cauldron society! Here are the incredible notes from his trip:
Road Trip from Prescott, AZ to Tulalip, WA in a Toyota Prius – there and back… (or “How a crazy Prescott, Arizona guy spent $260 on fuel driving a Toyota Prius to pick up a Cowboy Cauldron “Urban Cowboy” cauldron he bought on eBay in Seattle, Washington”) (Hint: There’s more room in a Prius than you might think!)
June 27 – Took off from Prescott, then drove through Ash Fork and Kingman, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Twin Falls, ID, and then spent the night in Boise, ID.
June 28 – Drove from Boise, ID, Pendleton, OR, Yakima and Seattle, WA, and then arrived in Tulalip, WA. Chatted with the former owner for a bit, loaded the cauldron (plenty of room!), and then took an alternate way home. Drove south and then spent the night in Tacoma, WA.
June 29 – Drove from Tacoma, WA through Portland, Salem, Eugene, and Medford, OR, and then spent the night in Sacramento, CA.
June 30 – Drove from Sacramento, CA through Fresno and Bakersfield, Barstow, and Needles, CA, then Kingman and Ash Fork, AZ and finally arrived back home in Prescott, AZ.
July 1 – Set up the cauldron at home – it looks great!!
Totals getting there and back: total miles – 3,273
Huge congrats to Brian on such a killer story! Now, the thing we really love is that Brian's journey is allowing a piece of steel that we manufactured years ago to see a second life with a new owner -- something he and his family can enjoy, pass on to another generation, and so on. Here's to many burns in your "new" Cowboy Cauldron, Brian.
Enjoy!
