Prep Time: ~5 minutes
Cook Time: 6–8 minutes
Servings: 2–4

Ingredients

  • 3–4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1-2 tbsp of heavy cream
  • 2–3 tbsp honey
  • Pinch of salt

Optional: whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, fresh herbs (mint or basil), crushed nuts

Steps

  1. Build the Fire
Light your Cowboy Cauldron and let the fire burn down to a steady bed of coals. Place the grill over medium heat.
  2. Prep the Peaches
Lightly brush the cut side of the peaches with oil or melted butter.
  3. Grill
Place peaches cut-side down on the grill. Cook for 3–4 minutes until grill marks form and the fruit begins to soften. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes.
  4. Finish
Remove from heat and drizzle with honey and splash of heavy cream. Add a small pinch of salt to bring out the sweetness.
  5. Serve
Serve warm, on their own or with your choice of toppings.

Pro Tips

  • Look for peaches that are ripe but still firm—they’ll hold up better on the grill
  • Don’t move them too early—let the grill marks develop
  • A pinch of salt makes the sweetness pop
  • Add cream or ice cream for a more indulgent finish
  • This is the perfect accent to an already planned brunch, an easy dessert after a long, slow meal, or one of those recipes worth keeping tucked away for whenever you want something simple that feels like more
